WESTMINSTER

The Westminster lamp is a piece that I designed and fabricated from start to finish. It derives its name from the slender lamps that punctuate the choir of Westminster Abbey in London which served as the inspiration for the piece. As a designer, I find satisfaction in playing with scale and proportion. When designing the Westminster lamp, I experimented with altering the conventional proportions of the average table lamp to create interest.
